Biography

Tony has more than 35 years of experience as a lawyer.

Tony practices in the areas of corporate law, commercial law (including logistics and transport, rail, port (both onshore and offshore matters)), pipelines, sport law, intellectual property (such as trade marks, brand protection, marketing and advertising law), hospitality, event law (venue hire, sponsorship and production agreements, event management and ticketing agreements), large construction and infrastructure projects, property law (including complex land tenure transactions, subdivisions, planning and development issues and environmental law), franchising law, aged care & elder law, preparation of complex Wills and estate planning and commercial litigation.

In addition to his work as a legal practitioner and manager of legal practices, Tony has been a Director of several companies and charitable organisations in various industries including the establishment and operation of a national sporting team, the operation and management of State event and sporting venues, the operation and management of a TV station and the operation and management of a large scale undercover retail markets.

Tony has also been a member of a number of committees including the State committee that reviewed the horse racing industry and is presently a Commissioner of the Liquor Commission.

One of Tony’s greatest strengths lies in his ability to handle complex legal matters. He is a pragmatic and strategic thinker who achieves clear and concise outcomes for his clients.
