The Subiaco Justice Centre (SJC) is a not-for-profit community legal centre providing access to legal services to those in the Subiaco community that need it most.

For over 10 years, Pragma Lawyers has provided extensive in-kind support to the Subiaco Justice Centre (SJC), including providing volunteer staff from the firm on a regular basis, conducting training for SJC staff and volunteers, and hosting SJC events at our office.

Our Founding Director Aaron McDonald sits as the chairperson of the SJC’s board, providing both financial and professional support to the Centre.

The WA Good Food Guide (WAGFG) is a celebration of the WA dining scene across all areas of cooking, entrepreneurship, wine, beer and service.

Pragma has had a close relationship with the Guide for almost 5 years, providing legal advice and supporting their year-round events that celebrate the hospitality sector.

The Restructuring and Insolvency Network of WA (RINWA) is an organisation committed to promoting diversity and education in the insolvency industry.

The Piddington Society is an association of lawyers dedicated to ensuring access to justice and assisting those at all stages in the legal profession.

The Blackstone Society, the UWA Law Students' Society, is the peak representative body for students studying law at the University of Western Australia.

The Diggers and Dealers Mining Forum is Australia’s leading mining forum, held annually in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The Forum presents an opportunity for industry professionals to meet, network and directly engage with the resources sector.  

Embracing our steadfast commitment to the mining and resources domain, the Pragma team has been a returning attendee of the Forum for the past few years, where we proudly host an annual long table lunch at Kalgoorlie’s iconic Exchange Hotel.

Law Access’ annual Walk for Justice event takes place during National Law Week to raise money and awareness for National Pro Bono Day.

The Pragma Team has participated in the Walk for Justice for 6 consecutive years.

In March 2024, 7 members of the Pragma team took part in the Port to Pub swim, a 19.7km swim from Leighton Beach direct to Rottnest Island.

As a 5-star employer of choice for employee health and wellbeing (Australasian Lawyer Magazine 2023), taking part in challenges that push our physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing is commonplace at Pragma Lawyers.
