Pragma Lawyers assists Central Desert Native Title Services with successful negotiation and approval of new Enterprise Agreement
Pragma Lawyers is proud to have partnered with Central Desert Native Title Services (CDNTS) to successfully negotiate and secure the approval of their new Enterprise Agreement. Working alongside Norfolk Workplace Consulting, we addressed a range of key legal and industrial issues, including agreement coverage, remuneration structures, leave entitlements, and Better Off Overall Test (BOOT) compliance.
This collaborative effort ensured that the Enterprise Agreement not only aligned with CDNTS's strategic objectives but also received unanimous support from all covered employees who voted, along with backing from bargaining representatives and the Australian Services Union (ASU) WA.
Those involved in this significant industrial relations project included Pragma Lawyers’ Employment Law Director Elizabeth McLean, Senior Associate Ben Pike, and Norfolk Workplace Consulting’s Principal Consultant Chondelle McKay.
The Fair Work Commission approved the agreement on 6 September 2024, marking a successful outcome for all involved. You can view the official decision here.
