Pragma Lawyers advises on successful recapitalisation of Qetra by Multiplant Holdings

Pragma Lawyers was pleased to assist Multiplant Holdings, a diversified engineering, construction and maintenance provider, in its successful recapitalisation of Qetra through a Deed of Company Arrangement.

Qetra was placed into voluntary administration on 15 September 2025. On 21 October 2025 at the second creditors’ meeting, creditors voted in favour of Multiplant Holdings’ proposal to restructure Qetra.

Experienced company director Nader El Sayed joins Brian Zlnay and Saman Majrouh on the Board of Qetra.

Nader El Sayed, the Managing Director of Multiplant, said in relation to the successful restructure:

“This milestone marks an exciting next chapter for Multiplant as we expand to offer end-to-end project solutions. Our capabilities now go beyond civil and construction to include structural, piping, and mechanical construction, fabrication, modular and offsite assembly, and tailored electrical solutions. In addition, our construction capabilities now cover the full spectrum of non-process and process infrastructure, as well as energy projects, positioning Multiplant as a truly integrated delivery partner for our clients across Western Australia”.

The successful implementation of the DOCA will see Multiplant and Qetra continue to invest millions of dollars into the Western Australia construction and resources sectors.

This deal was only made possible with the assistance of the voluntary administrators led by Cameron Shaw and the team from Hall Chadwick who were advised by Blackwall Legal.
